Description[]

The Jaguar C-X75 is a high-performance concept sports car produced by Jaguar in partnership with Williams Racing. Designed by Ian Callum and unveiled at the 2010 Paris Auto Show, the C-X75 was intended to be a successor to the Jaguar XJ220; it was intended to be powered by two Bladon micro gasoline turbines and four YASA electric motors producing 778 horsepower. Production was announced to take place between 2013 to 2015 with 250 units produced; the onset of the Great Recession ultimately forced the car to be canceled. Despite this, five developmental prototypes were manufactured in 2013, now powered by a 1.6L Cosworth twincharged inline-4 assisted by two YASA motors mated to a 7-speed automated manual, producing a combined total of 850 horsepower.

The C-X75 appeared in the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, driven by Mr. Hinx. Seven cars were provided for filming; these are mechanically unrelated to the C-X75 prototypes, being built around a World Rally Championship spaceframe and powered by a dry sump V8 engine. Despite speculation from the public and press due to its appearance in the film Jaguar have repeatedly stated that they had no plans to put the C-X75 into production.
