James Iida is a Mattel employee who worked with Mattel from 2002 to 2010 and again since 2017. In his first tenure for Mattel, Iida was the lead designer for Hot Wheels "hard-line consumer products" and developed key arts for Hot Wheels style guides from 2006 to 2010. He also acted as a design for Sanrio Global, Disney Consumer Products, SA Studios Global and Saban Brands; he returned to Mattel in 2017 where he currently serves as a Lead Designer.
