John Mark Violette is a former Hot Wheels designer who worked at Mattel from 2006 to 2011. He was responsible for the Ferrari Racer, Crashers, Color Shifters and Custom Motors series as well as several new castings. He currently runs his own design firm, John Violette Design LLC; prior to this, he was a concept designer at competing brand Spin Master.
