Julian Richard Payne is a British principal designer for Hot Wheels and Matchbox who has been working at Mattel since 1998. Most of his work is with regards to playsets, mainly Color Shifters playsets, with some amount of vehicle design as well. He was a part of the Matchbox design team early on in his career but has since moved back.
