This model is based on the Koenigsegg hypercar that appears in the 2014 movie Need for Speed. The Koenigsegg Agera R is a Swedish hypercar which has a 5.0 liter twinturbo V8 which delivers 1,115 hp and 1,200 Nm (885 lbs·ft) of torque, resulting in a top speed of 442.5 km/h (275 mph). It has a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time of under 3 seconds.
An interesting fact about the model is that the base of the Agera R reads Koenigsegg CCX (the Agera's predecessor); a model of the CCX was never made by Hot Wheels. This was fixed on the 2020 HW Boulevard release.
