Line Racers was an unreleased line of remote control Hot Wheel cars that was planned to be released in 1990 according to a 1990 Mattel Catalog. The cars had innovative technology that can follow a dark line road. Therefore, you could draw any line on the floor and the cars would drive along it. The series would have included 2 cars (a Pontiac Firebird and a Porsche 944) and a racing set (Toy #3958). The 1990 Mattel Catalog suggests that a TV commercial of these cars aired, but no commercial is known to exist.
