LionChief Ready-To-Run is an entry-level product line manufactured by Lionel Trains. Releases cater to those beginning proper model railroading, featuring simpler BlueTooth technology and smaller locomotives intended to run on tighter curves; models are controlled via the included LionChief remote or mobile app.
Lionel released a Hot Wheels-themed subseries within the LionChief line in 2018 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Hot Wheels. It consisted of various branded O-Gauge (1:48 scale) models and accessories. Releases of this series were intended to be used on FasTrack system rail sections although normal rail sections could be used as well.
A contest ran from 13 August 2018 to 24 August 2018 on the Lionel Trains Facebook page where a single participant was chosen to win a free copy of the Electric O-Gauge Train Set.
