Description[]
The Lotus Evija (pronounced "e-vai-ha") is a limited-production high-performance all-electric two-seat sports car produced by Lotus since 2023, it being the firm's first electric vehicle. Powered by a 70 kWh battery pack developed in conjunction with Williams Advanced Engineering, the Evija features four electric motors giving the car a total output of 1974 BHP. The car was announced in July 2019 as the Type 130 and unveiled in November the same year. 130 cars are expected to be produced, assembled at Lotus's Hethel factory.
