Miva Antonio Filoseta is a former Mattel employee who worked in the Hot Wheels division from 1984 to 1987 and from 1989 to 2014. Filoseta was mostly an engineer, specializing in tooling, mechanical engineering and tampo design; he was responsible for the addition of magnets to the Rev-Ups lineup and implemented the Hydrographics tampo application system first used on the NASCAR series of Hot Wheels cars and later on the Speed Racer series. Prior to working at Mattel, Filoseta worked at Smith Engineering and General Consumer Electronics, working on the Vectrex game system. He is currently a design and engineering consultant at competing brand Spin Master and a development and tool consultant at Bonfit.
