Modifighters was a short-lived Hot Wheels series that was produced only in 2007. The series's gimmicks was their transforming abilities, similar to the Transformers line of transforming robots. The castings would transform into licensed vehicles and back into robots with a number of articulated points and pivots. The castings would also reveal battle damage if shot at or doused with cold water.
Two lines are known to exist: the standard Modifighters line and the Modifighters Quick Changers line, which transformed as they rolled along. Due to poor sales, the Modifighters line was pulled from shelves and discontinued after a few short months.
