Description[]
This casting depicts a souped up tour bus with side pipes and a flip-up basketball hoop at the rear. Each had the logo of a NBA basketball team. These buses were only intended to be sold in a special action pack featuring the bus and two rubber figurines representing various players who played for the team at the time. The body of the bus tips up similar to a Volkswagen Drag Bus (although it is hinged from the rear) to reveal a rather spartan interior, with only a storage cubby present for the figures. This casting never had an official name, and so the above name is a placeholder used to describe the casting.
29 teams were initially intended to be released, but only eleven were released. The packs are now considered a failure and were noted to have sat on store shelves for months on end before they were ultimately clearanced.
