Description

For the release of the Japan Historics 2, Hot Wheels gave collectors two new castings; the Nissan Skyline C210, and the Nissan Laurel 2000 SGX. The latter is the Second-Generation (1972-77) Laurel, Chassis C-130 in Hardtop (2-door) "SGX" trim. This means (among other enhancements) independent rear suspension and a 2.0L six cylinder (L20A) engine with a 5-speed transmission. Having distinctive "coke bottle" lines, this car was affectionately known as the "Butaketsu" Laurel. Hot Wheels presents its Japanese Domestic Market Laurel in clean "Kyusha" style with an authentic metallic green, with minimal decal or markings other than the GReddy, JNC and "Laurel SGX" tampos. It features a lowered stance, fender flares, low-profile rubber wrapped around small-diameter Mini Classic 4-spoke Real Riders and a large front spoiler, which is part of the metal base.
