The Nissan Z is based on the concept vehicle that ultimately became the 350Z. Hot Wheels designer Eric Tscherne faithfully replicated the model in 1/64th scale. A few prototypes of this model exist in the concept car's burn orange paint. Nissan never approved the color for production resulting in the silver color more commonly seen on the production 350 Z.
