Description[]
The Pontiac Aztek Custom depicts a heavily modified version of an Aztek with a front lip, ducktail spoiler and lowered stance. A pork pie hat and a pair of glasses are visible in the trunk as a reference to the Aztek featured in Breaking Bad driven by Walter White. Andrés Andrieu designed the graphics on the third release of this casting with the same inspiration. The base on prototypes is misspelled "Pontiac Aztec Custom" and was corrected in final releases.
The real vehicle is a mid-sized crossover SUV produced by the Pontiac division of General Motors from 2001 to 2005. Designed by Tom Peters, the Aztek is notorious for its controversial styling; many enthusiasts classify it as one of the ugliest cars of all time. It is related to the Buick Rendezvous, which was essentially the same car but with styling more in line with that of Buick's lineup. The car is powered by a 3.4L LA1 V6 mated to a GM 4T65-E 4-speed automatic.
