Description

This is a 1:24 Scale version of the Pontiac Grand Prix Stocker.

In order to save the Wiki from many similar yet different versions of this casting, all the 1:24 scale version of this stock car will be posted in this article.

When Hot Wheels created their NASCAR line; the Pro Racing it took them a year in 1998 to produce the bigger 1:43 & 1:24 scales. It is debatable which version came out first.

• The Legends to Life featured Kyle Petty's 1997 paint scheme. The Pontiac was on a base and was animated to drive while having a figurine turning the wheel
• The Legends version was in a "30th Hot Wheels Anniversary" scheme. It was highly detailed as all the casting as part of the Legends series where. Around the same time as the Pro Racing line came out, the 100% castings where released, making the NASCAR line have some years featured as 100% castings
• The 1998 Pro Racing variants is the common casting used for the 1:24 Pro Racing line. This Pontiac Stocker does not have opening trucks or hood, the wheels stay straight, and the base is not detailed.

Most cars had a 1/64 version of the same variant, but some where never in a 1/64 variant as noted...unless it's a highly rare unfounded variant!

To avoid confusion, both Crew's Choice and Selects models open Hoods & Trunks. But the Body of the Crew's Choice comes off while the Selects models do not.

Series with a "?" are in a White Box that has no labels or markings, only a Toy Number. So the rest is an assumption.

After 2002, Hot Wheels used the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix in it's line.
