Pontiac entered the NASCAR scene in 1950. Since then, Hot Wheels has made plenty of Pontiac NASCAR Stockers, mainly under the Grand Prix name.

Fun Fact: In the Hot Wheels Pro Racing line, the Pontiac Grand Prix Stocker is the longest used casting Without any retooling. This might be because in was a Pontiac Grand Prix Stocker that Kyle Petty used for his #44 Hot Wheels car.


Pontiac Stocker may refer to one of the following:


  1. First came the Pontiac Stocker in 1992 for the Pro_Circuit series designed by Larry Wood
  2. Next came the popular Pontiac Grand Prix Stocker in 1997
  3. In a promotion to tribute Richard Petty, the '84 Pontiac Grand Prix was created in 2004 and designed by Michael Kollins


On a technicality:

(cars that didnt appear in the Pro Racing series but did appear in a Stock Car Variation, or in NASCAR but have yet to appear in a Stock Car Variation)

  1. In the same promotional tribute Richard Petty, the '67 Pontiac GTO was used.
  2. In the International Race of Champions (IROC) series (similar to NASCAR) the IROC Firebird was created in 1998 designed by Mark Jones
  3. The 2014 Color Shifters variation of the '64 Pontiac GTO came in a Stock Car scheme.
  4. If I am including the 1970 Firebird T/A which did appear in the NASCAR Late Model series, I might as well include the mainline version the '70 Pontiac Firebird. Unfortunately a Stock Racing variation has never appeared.
  5. The '66 Pontiac GTO, '69 Pontiac GTO, & '70 Pontiac GTO Judge appeared in the NASCAR series but where never given a Stock Racing variation
  6. The '65 Pontiac GTO had a Stock car variation in the 50 States Connect Cars series
