Description[]
The Porsche 917KH debuted in the collector-aimed 100% line in the Porsche 50th Anniversary 4-Car Set . It featured an opening rear hatch which displayed a detailed engine. In 2005, it was re-tooled without the opening rear hatch. It was one of the two 100% Hot Wheels castings to stay in production after the series ended, the other being the Toyota Off-Road Truck.
Most liveries used by this casting depict 917KHs that have raced (e.g. the 1998 100% Hot Wheels and 2013 Gulf Racing versions are based on 917-022 as used in the film Le Mans, the 2001 100% Hot Wheels and 2025 Car Culture releases are based on 1970 24 Hours of Le Mans winner 917-023 etc.).
