The Porsche 963 is a sport prototype racing car developed by Multimatic in collaboration with Porsche for endurance racing. Styled by Stéphane Lenglin under Matthias Hossan with design work by Christian Eifrig, the 963 is homologated for the LMDh category and competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship in the Hypercar class and the GTP class in the IMSA SportsCar Championship. It is powered by a 4.6L 9RD twin-turbocharged V8 mated to an Xtrac P1359 7-speed sequential; the engine is limited to 671 horsepower due to Balance of Performance regulations. A highly competitive car, the 963 won the 2024 IMSA SportsCar Championship with Porsche Penske Motorsport.
