Description[]
There have been two previous versions of this car, the Renault Le Car casting from 1983 and the Renault 5 Turbo from 1991. This is the wide-bodied Turbo II Model, with the other Renault 5 castings depicting the lower-specification Renault 5 'Alpine' model. The "Renault 5 Turbo" widebody was intended for rallying, to compete with the Lancia Stratos from Italy.
