The Rivited is a Hot Wheels Original Design. It was introduced in the AcceleRacers line in 2005. This car was named after a wrestling move. In the Acceleracers series, this car was driven by Taro Kitano of the Metal Maniacs. This car looks like a slightly flatter and more aerodynamic version of the 1968 Ford Mustang fastback. The body is made of carbon fibre on a chromemoly tube chassis. Two pieces of the body cover the rear window, dividing it in fifths. There are brake outlets on the side with rear brake intakes and a rectangular air pressure spoiler. Rivited is powered by a ram air 427ci twin turbo fuel injected V10 with a blow off valve. It has a acoustic exhaust system. Similar to Spinebuster, the exhaust pipes go in tubes to the sides to store in two chambers, then out the back. The chambers form an amplified throaty engine tone. Dual rounded exhaust pipes exit through the middle of the rear bumper that not only look and sound good, but helps with performance as well. The air intake has a filter which is fitted over the top of the car's engine. The car has four link coilovers to help with handling. The rims measure 15" in the front and 17" in the rear.
