Description

The Sand Drifter is a Hot Wheels casting introduced in 1975 and was designed by Larry Wood. It is a modified version of the Power Pad from 1970, without the exposed engine and rear camper. It is part pickup, part dune buggy and various tools can be seen in the bed, underneath the tonneau cover. It saw several hard-to-find versions released internationally, including France, Venezuela and Japan (Red Box #51).
