Skate Freaks was a short-lived series of miniature Hot Wheels vehicles produced in 2007. These represented people on skateboards, often featuring names referencing skate tricks. The series was a tie-in with Woodward Camp, a sport-themed summer camp based in Pennsylvania, with their branding featured prominently on the products of the line. Development of the series was overseen by Dave Sheltman who designed the associated launchers and skaters.

About 30 Street Packs and some playsets were produced for the line; skateboarders featured a magnet under them to allow them to stick to the playsets and perform tricks. This concept was also seen on the equally short-lived Micro Madnetics series but was executed differently.

Street Packs[]

Street Packs were a bundle featuring two skateboarders and a launcher (more akin to that of a pusher), activated by tapping hard on the corrugated portion. The packs could feature repeat models but with different color schemes.
