Star Wars Starships Select is a line of 1:50 scale replicas of starships from the Star Wars media franchise, acting as a sort of Premium version to the standard Starships line. These versions feature various moving features and are of a larger scale compared to regular Hot Wheels Starships and features an "upgraded" display stand specific to each ship, featuring an etching of the ship's name as well as the logo of its galactic affiliation.
Each mix consists of four starships; within each mix there includes a single "Chase" variant of one of the four ships with a battle-damaged decoration. These can be identified by the blue background surrounding the name on the packaging (as opposed to silver), a silver background surrounding its series number on the J-hook (as opposed to red) and the series logo reading "Starships Select Variant" as opposed to simply "Starships Select". All castings are made in China.
