The Sting monster truck was a 1957 Corvette monster truck that ran from 2000-2001 and was created as part of a partnership between WCW and Monster Jam in the early 2000s, similar to the Goldberg truck. Named after the legendary wrestler Sting, the truck featured a blue design with scorpion graphics, inspired by his wrestling persona. It debuted in 2000 and was driven by Gary Porter, a veteran monster truck driver. However, after WCW was bought by WWE in 2001, the truck was eventually retired, and its chassis was later repurposed for other Monster Jam trucks such as Vette King, a loosely related truck that is often times coined as Sting's successor, debuted in 2002. Sting was one of the original four Hot Wheels diecast trucks from 2000.
