SuperChangers

Super Changers was a short-lived series of larger-scale (approximately 1:43 scale) Hot Wheels cars produced from 1989 to 1990. These were a set of motorized Hot Wheels featuring interchangeable wheels and bumpers which could be snapped together. Each of the vehicles had swappable parts for more "optimum racing performance".

Various products were available in the series, such as wheels, motors, cars and track sets. These cars ran on a specialized type of fat track with the cars kept in their lanes with wheels on their bumpers running along the track sidewalls. Each vehicle is powered by two "AA"-sized batteries and features two switches on the bottom of their chassis: one for power and another to determine the drive mode of the car (rear or all-wheel drive). All vehicles are made of plastic and feature sticker sheets to enhance their appearance. The series was discontinued in 1990.
