"Super Treasure Hunt" (often abbreviated as STH, sometimes $TH) is a colloquialism used by collectors to refer to "Super Secret Treasure Hunts", a number of intentionally-production limited Hot Wheels placed within the mainline.

Super Treasure Hunts were introduced in 2007 as part of a revamp of the Treasure Hunt system; labeled as "TREA$URE HUNT$" as opposed to "TREASURE HUNTS" on the card, Super Treasure Hunts feature Spectraflame paint and rubber wheels and are produced in significantly lower numbers than standard Treasure Hunts. The Super Treasure Hunts used the same logo identification system as the standard Treasure Hunts, which would usually be some variation on the letters "TH". In essence, Super Treasure Hunts are similar to the Treasure Hunts of old from 1995 to 2006, with rubber tires and special paint.

In 2012, another revamp of the Treasure Hunts occured; the Super Treasure Hunts were spun off into a "hidden" series in 2012 within the mainline, with random vehicles within the mainline given the Super Treasure Hunt treatment which can be found alongside their standard mainline counterparts with plastic wheels. Since 2012, Super Treasure Hunts can be identified through the above logo; this system has been used since then. Since 2013, Super Treasure Hunts feature a black Treasure Hunt flame logo on their card backs, which was changed to gold in 2016.

Trivia

• While every case release has a mainline given the Super Treasure Hunt treatment, not every case will feature a Super Treasure Hunt inside it.
• Super Treasure Hunts from 2007 are notorious for their poor paintwork, being known to flake, peel or bubble. This was improved with later batches of Super Treasure Hunts.
