2019 Happy Meal 40th Anniversary[]
As part of the Happy Meal 40th Anniversary series, for "1993", McDonald's used the Hot Wheels #27 McDonald's car. Obviously with a 26 year difference, the car given out was not an exact replica of the 1993 version. For starters:
- The body is slightly longer, taller, but the same width as the 1993 variant.
- The 1993 version has a faint detail for headlights and front bumper, the 2019 version has no front details.
- The 2019 variant has a plastic body vs the 1993 version which has a metal body
- Because the 2019 version is all plastic there is a block of metal inside to give it weight.
- Because the car doesn't have rivets like the 1993 version has, but rather triangle round screws, the interior (and the metal block) can be accessed.
And of course, many other tiny differences but those are the main ones to point out.
