If these were made by hasbro, what do they have to do with Hot Wheels and Mattel? Sinnin 12:19, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

I'll have to dig mine out or borrow my grandson's to show the base, but they are definitely Hot Wheels. I never noticed that Hot Wheels wasn't mentioned in the ad and not quite sure how Hasbro was involved. Let me see what I can dig up. so far... http://www.encyclopedia.com/doc/1G1-61724262.html

there were two cases, one can be found on ebay UK and the other was a car.

Off the top of my head, and from the picture... there were 14 total

2. AppleJacks
3. Cocoa Crispies
4. Mini Wheats
5. Honey Crunch Corn Flakes
6. Crispix
7. Raisn Bran
8. Sugar Smacks
9. Corn FLakes
10. Froot Loops
11. Rice Krispies
12. Hasbro kids (pictured in banner next too-)
13. Frosted Flakes

Kevin starting this page pulled me in.

Sinnin's challenge got me digging.

It's lookin pretty sloppy - needs some polishing. Right now I just wanna get what I can together.

Here's some more stuff I dug up...

Kellogg's Cereals To Offer NASCAR Hot Wheels Pull 'N Go Cars

Kellogg Company is teaming up with Mattel and NASCAR to offer buyers of selected Kellogg'scereals the opportunity to send away for a free NASCAR Hot Wheels Pull 'N Go mini-car. This marks the first time Mattel has offered the mini-cars in the United States. More than 37 million boxes of Kellogg's cereal will feature a mail-in offer for the 11 different mini-cars. Ten cars display the cereal brand logo and one car is a replica of the official #5 Kellogg's Chevrolet driven by two-time NASCAR champion Terry Labonte. A Pull 'N Go car is operated by rolling it backward to coil an internal spring. When the car is released, the spring uncoils to move the car forward.

Hot Wheels was introduced in 1968. Today, its products range from die-cast vehicles and interactive software to apparel and accessories.

"Joining forces with Hot Wheels in this promotion reinforces one of our key business strategies -- to bring fun back to cereal," said Kevin Smith, Kellogg vice president, marketing services.

Participating cereals are Kellogg's Corn Flakes, Kellogg's Honey Crunch Corn Flakes, Kellogg's Smacks, Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies, Kellogg's AppleJacks, Kellogg's Raisin Bran, Kellogg's Froot Loops, Kellogg's Rice Krispies,Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats (original and Bite-Size) and Kellogg's Crispix.

Consumers may also order, by mail, a NASCAR Hot Wheels Pull 'N Go mini-car carrying case for all 11 cars, priced at $4.99 plus two dated box tops from participating Kellogg's cereals. Details on the mail-in offer are on the cereal box.

Additional information about the Kellogg's free NASCAR Hot Wheels Pull 'NGo mini-cars offer is available on the Kellogg's website.

With sales of nearly $7 billion, Kellogg Company is the world's leading producer of ready-to-eat cereal and a leading producer of convenience foods, including toaster pastries, cereal bars, frozen waffles, and veggie foods. The company's brands include Kellogg's, Rice Krispies, Special K, Eggo, Pop-Tarts, Nutri-Grain, and Morningstar Farms. Kellogg products are manufactured in 20 countries and marketed in more than 160 countries around the world.

no mention of Hasbro or the NASCAR Racers cartoon. I keep noticing where NASCAR Hasbro Racers are mentioned, nothing about the kellog / Hot Wheels promo. And where Kellog's and Hot Wheels are mentioned - no Hasbro. Except that one picture I'm POSITIVE I pulled from Kellog's website back in the day.

I wish I could remember where I put mine.

I've tried figuring out how to do a quote box with reference links - I just don't get the code. Shoot, I can't even figure out the yearly lists!!!! I tried adding the pic for the 2006 Tomohawk (which is there on the Tomohawk page) and got some funky lookin crap - maybe it's my XP Pro service pack 2 with a twist of lemon shoelaces and scarf! Man I really hate microsoft windoze.

Okj, I'm done - anyone feel like polishing up the front page, feel free to delete all this talk when the info gets transferred ovver. I'll try and get my 2 style cases out for these cars, wioth all 14 of th cars I have.
