Description[]

Terrordactyl is a medium-sized clockwork-powered playset featuring a pterodactylus. The goal of the playset is to shoot the pterodactylus out of the sky. The set features a clockwork-powered pterodactylus and a unique middle portion with four volcano peaks and an automatic diversion mechanism. The clockwork-powered pterodactylus sits on a swinging base which swings back and forth to dodge the cars.

When the car is launched from one of the two launchers, it travels around a looping track to loop back to the launcher; as the car passes by the peaks, it activates a trigger. When the trigger is activated twice, one volcano erupts; when the trigger is activated twice again, the second volcano erupts and the diversion automatically activates, allowing the car to attack the pterodactylus. Cars can be placed on the volcanos to launch them into the air for added effect when the volcano erupts. When the car hits a trigger on the moving base, the pterodactylus is launched from the base and is defeated.

The set was designed by Eric Ostendorff and Mike Nuttall.
