Description[]
The Demon was a car in the 1970 Hot Wheels series, based on the Dave Stuckey customized '32 Ford Lil' Coffin show car of the '50s-60s. Generally found with black interior, it can be found with white interior. Magenta is found with white interior only and is considered rare. The Model were packaged with a metal or plastic 'Collector's Button'.
The casting was later renamed Prowler from 1973 - 1983. Some 1973 releases were found with the Demon base as Mattel used up old stock - these do not significantly affect the value. The casting got a new tool & die to be released as The Demon in 1993 for the 25th Anniversary Series and current reissues.
