Thunderstreak Description

This is a re-issue of Formula Fever(1983), there is casting number change also. In all appearences they look like the same casting.

The Casting does make a big change in 1992, with the wing moving from cast with the base to cast into the body. It much taller and longer. To a more modern design.

Thunderstreak was Playable in Hot wheels mechanix PC Unknown years.

1992 Retooling

There was a new tool & die made for this casting in 1992 for the debut of the Pro Circuit racing series. The new casting was integrated into the mainline after the Pro Circut series ended. 

Both iterations of the Thunderstreak share similar castings, with the difference being the larger tail and the rear spoiler moving from being attached to the base to being attached to the top of the body. Both versions of the castings were produced simultaneously.
