The Time Bender is a Scorchers model based on what appears to be a '70s concept race car; it was the only one of the two 1980 models not to be based on a real vehicle. The Scorchers models were known for their extremely powerful pullback motors. The casting was used twice and then discontinued in around 1982 with the rest of the Scorchers line; while some were repurposed into the mainline and some as Shift Kickers vehicles, this is one of the various castings which never saw the light of day again.
