Description[]
The Toyota 2000GT is a limited-production, front-engine, rear-wheel drive, two-seat, hardtop coupé grand tourer designed by Toyota in collaboration with Yamaha. The car is considered Japan's first supercar and is highly collectible today, valued at over $1 million. 351 were produced.
It was featured in the 1967 James Bond movie You Only Live Twice; this was a custom roofless car fitted with convertible tonneaus to simulate a working convertible roof. These were allegedly considered due to Sean Connery, Bond's actor, being 1.88 m (6 ft 2 in) tall. Two were produced specifically for this film.
This casting is modified from Jun Imai's Toyota 2000 GT casting; it features an identical base but a completely different body and interior.
