TrackWorx was a short-lived series of Hot Wheels track, playsets and accessories. The series was introduced in 2002 as sort of a successor to the old Track System lineup in the 1990s. A total of 9 products were marketed in the line, each numbered 1 through 9. The idea behind the sets was to "create the ultimate custom track", with a tagline being "Design It. Build It. Race It."
Of all products sold, eight were accessories while one was a track set. Each of the accessories feature additional pieces of track and the associated connectors; these connectors are incompatible with modern Hot Wheels track as they are too short and narrow. The track featured in the series is the same as normal Hot Wheels track but in an indigo color. The general color scheme for the products was indigo with black or orange complimenting it. A number of products in the TrackWorx were actually old Track System products with the TrackWorx color scheme and decals.
TrackWorx was discontinued in 2003 without a direct successor, with many of the products featured in the series further improved for future releases. The Track Builder series introduced in 2014 can be seen as sort of a spiritual successor to this series due to their similarities.
