The Turbofire is a Motorized X-V Racer based loosely on a mid-engined sports car like a Zender Fact 4 or a Ferrari F355 Challenge. This casting was released in a number of different iterations with different names and was discontinued around 1998; many of these names are actually reused from older Hot Wheels castings from the mainline.
