Description[]
The Vector W8 is a high-performance American sports car designed by Jerry Wiegert and David Kostka. The car was built using the latest aerospace materials, with Wiegert referring to the manufacture of the car as "aeromotive engineering"; the car was powered by a 6.0L Rodeck racing V8 with variable boost twin turbochargers. In essence, the W8 was a highly refined version of the W2 prototype, featuring a very similar appearance. Production was forced to halt when Vector was forcefully taken over by MegaTech, an Indonesian company with Bermudan ties; 22 were produced. According to designer Manson Cheung, there are no current plans to re-release this casting or other Vectors into the mainline or Premium lines due to licensing issues.
