Description

The Velocitor was based on the 1983 Ford Thunderbird modified for NASCAR racing. It is not to be confused with the T-Bird Stocker, a casting first released in 1990, based on the 1990 Ford Thunderbird body style. The Velocitor was released earlier as the Thunderburner and Thunderbird Stocker. It is often confused with the T-Bird Stocker casting but the two castings are very different. This confusion can be traced back to the Year 2000 Tomart's price guide by Mike Strauss.
