Description[]
This is a representation of a funny car with a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette body. It was loosely based on the English Leather funny car driven by Tom "Mongoose" McEwen.

Prototype? The story with this Vetty funny is that it was given out at a Mattel Asia Factory Opening. It is reportedly one of between 6 and 20 made for the event. This one comes from a son of a former Mattel VP who acquired the car at the event.
