The Wail Tale is a car featured in the Crooze series. It was in production for 2004 only and has never been used again. This car is based on the 1978 Porsche 935/78 racing car, nicknamed "Moby Dick".
Keeping with Mattel's witty sense of humor for naming these models, it was named the Wail Tale. The name is a play-on-words of wail (yelling) to whale (a sea creature, Moby Dick; the nickname of the Porsche), and tale (story, legend) to tail (the rear portion of the car). And thus "translating" 'Moby Dick' to 'Wail Tail'.
